Assisted Bathing

The Louisiana walk in bath (also known as The Hudson walk in bath) might be considered by some

to be the perfect choice when considering a bathroom conversion.

Offering something for the differing needs of all the family, the Louisiana is available with or

without a powered lifting seat. You may also choose whether you require the optional glass shower door that perfectly compliments the glass entry door.

Even if space is at a premium, the Louisiana bath is available in a choice of 1500mm and 1700mm

lengths.

Choosing a Louisiana bath might even give you facilities you previous thought impossible because

of space.

As its name suggests, the Louisiana shower bath offers showering and bathing facilities. An

optional glass shower screen is available that aesthetically harmonises with the glass access

door to create a shower area.

The lifting seat may be a belt type or rigid (rigid shown in the pictures below). Each seat

type can easily be removed should the needs of another more ambulant member of the family

differ.

Designated as the Louisiana 3, the bath with curved glass door, matching curved shower screen, powered lifting seat. Brassware comprising bath spout and two quarter turn tap valves.

The Louisiana walk in shower bath will meet with the varying needs of many. A spacious 'P' shaped footprint offering a roomy shower, a detachable lifting seat that will gently lower and raise you should you prefer a bath.

The use of a Thermostatic Mixing Valve (TMV) to limit incoming hot water temperature and prevent scalding is strongly recommended with this item. Please ask if you require more information.

*Custom Colours

The standard and by far the most popular colour of a walk in bath is White. However, you may wish to colour match your bath with an existing suite. An option exists to have your bath manufactured to virtually any colour. This is achieved by you supplying a RAL number. This is a system of numbering that identifies colours and tints enabling an exact colour to be communicated. Please enquire for more information on RAL.

Delivery

A date for delivery will always be provided but the standard delivery service does not specify time of day and is only to the outside of your property.

**Special Delivery Options are however available as an optional extra.

1. Timed standard delivery - As per standard delivery but guaranteed before 12 noon.

2. White Glove delivery - Two man delivery into property. Bath will be unwrapped, inspected and packaging removed. No delivery time guaranteed on day of delivery.

As with all walk in baths we strongly recommend the use of a Thermostatically controlled taps or a Thermostatic Mixing Valve (TMV) on the hot water inlet of this bath to prevent scalding. If you require further information please ask.

 

Brassware

Brassware (Taps, Bath fillers or Bath/Shower mixers etc) are not included in the purchase price of

this product. We can of course supply a range for you to choose from as optional extras or you are

at liberty to source your own.

Please bear in mind, thermostatic protection to level TMV3 should be installed to protect the

bather from the risk of serious scalding.
