The TRANQUILITY COMPACT walk in bath is the newest addition to the TRANQUILITY range. Slightly slimmer than it's bigger siblings, measuring 1200mm (L) x 630mm (W), this compact version is suited well to smaller bathrooms

Equipped with a solid aluminium extra wide (800mm) side-entry door, the bath offers 'walk-in ' or 'slide-in' access making it ideal for transition from a wheelchair or seated position.

The TRANQUILITY COMPACT is offered in three models, each with different features.

The solid aluminium extra wide outward opening door facilitates easy transition from a seated position (slide in) making it wheelchair friendly. The door is firmly  secured shut by means of a simple-to-operate external lever.

The accommodation is spacious, offering an internal width of 510mm and total internal length of 1110mm. The internal depth of 845mm will provide the bather with a wonderful deep immersion. The unoccupied water capacity is 278 litres, although the actual amount necessary to fill will be dependant on the size of the bather and therefore the amount of water they displace.

The bath is fitted with 2 internal grab rails, a slip resistant base and a 2" pop-up waste outlet to ensure rapid emptying. Maximum suggested user weight is 35 Stones (222 Kg).

The Tranquility Compact walk in/slide in bath is supplied with 1 x End panel which is ideal if the bath is to be installed to a corner. If a mid-wall (side on) installation is required a second end panel is likely to be necessary.

As with all walk in baths we strongly recommend the use of a Thermostatically controlled taps or a Thermostatic Mixing Valve (TMV) on the hot water inlet of this bath to prevent scalding. If you require further information please ask.
