This premium quality shower cubicle is custom manufactured to include exactly what you decide you need. You specify what equipment is included. The cubicle walls are TRESPA*, an incredibly strong panelling that is durable and waterproof. No tiling is required.

Fully customisable disabled shower pod

You can configure the Snowdon shower enclosure from the ground up, beginning with the type of shower tray. The Slimline 35 shower tray offers an incredibly low step height and can even be recessed into the floor should level access be required. Whereas the Mendip shower tray permits the waste to run above floor level - very useful if you can't or don't want to break into the floor for pipework. Obviously, the Mendip tray stands taller (90mm) but wheelchair ramp kits are available for both types of shower tray.

You can chose the type of half-height doors - single panel or bi-folding. Various other options are available. Electric or mixer shower, roof panel with lights, extraction and a shower seat. Your enclosure is delivered to site with all the selected components ready to install.

A Swift-fit shower cubicle, as the name suggests, is designed to install easily and quickly without the need for messy or expensive building alterations or tiling. Simply plumb services to the cubicle and the job is done.

Should your requirements change in the future, a Swift-fit cubicle can be easily moved or removed leaving little evidence it was ever there.

Create an an annexe in your home

Snowdon Swift-fit shower cubicles are not limited to use in a bathroom. If you need to create an annexe or virtual ensuite facilities anywhere in the home a Swift-fit shower cubicle might be the perfect solution.

Shower tray options for the Snowdon Shower Pod

The Mendip is a low profile shower tray offering low step height. The tray incorporates an 'above ground' waste outlet - a particularly useful feature if running pipework in or under the floor is impossible or undesirable. An optional ramp is available if wheelchair access is required. See bottom of page for info.

The Slimline 35 is an ultra low profile shower tray offering minimal step height. This tray is designed to have the waste run below floor level. A ramp kit is available for the Slimline 35 shower tray. See bottom of page for info. The Slimline 35 shower tray can be recessed into the floor for level access.

To summarise:

• Type of tray. The cubicle size is determined by the size of shower tray. You can choose between a low level Slimline 35 type tray (for easy ultra low or level access) that will have the waste pipe below floor level, or a Mendip tray which has a slightly higher profile but allows the waste to be run above floor level.

• Shower equipment. Shower cubicles can be equipped with a mixer shower or an electric shower depending on your preference. Please don't hesitate to ask if you would like advice.

• Hand rails are available. You may choose any configuration or omit them entirely. It's up to you. Choose from our selection of grab rails.

• Shower seats can be added or omitted when configuring your enclosure. Our range of shower seats and stools includes hinged or removal styles. Models are available with or without arm rests.

*TRESPA - What is TRESPA?

TRESPA is an incredibly tough 6mm thick rigid wall panelling used in the construction of the Easy Fit shower enclosures. This is a premium product that most other manufacturers avoid because it is expensive, opting instead for cheaper products such as ABS. Beware, not all shower pods are the same!
